What I gotta do to get my name on the door? |
|
So you have a vehicle and you are really proud of
the services that you offer. Now what? What does it take to
get my name on the door of my car, truck, van, trailer,
whatever?
Well if you have already looked at our sign page
most of the process is the same. You have to start with a
company image either using what you already have, or coming up with a new design by one of the many
options you have in logo design. Next you let us know what
color or colors you might be looking at, which is very
dependant on the vehicle you have. Then we go to work. Using
the space available we lay out your design on the truck and
then show you the ideas that we have come up with via e-mail
or a visit to our shop. Then comes the installation of the
vinyl on your vehicle. |

So who's gonna make my
truck look right? |
|
To start the process of vehicle
lettering we first need to know the vehicle that we will be
lettering so we can come up with a design that will fit in
the dimensions that is available for that particular
vehicle. Whether the lettering is going on a car, truck,
van, semi, fire truck, ambulance, trailer, whatever the
process is the same. We open the vehicles template that we
have available (we don't have templates for all vehicles but
most) and lay the image or images that are needed on the
vehicle to determine proportion. After we have the image set
up on the vehicle we then take the image and apply the color
or colors that are necessary. After the design work is
complete we e-mail or print out the image for you to look
at. That is the beginning. Then you let us know how you
would like the sizing or colors to change to make it look
the way you want it to.

What about these wrap
things? |
|
The newest thing when it comes to installing lettering /
logos on vehicles is vehicle wrapping. That means that the
entire vehicle is covered in vinyl graphics. This is a very
cool process and the digital age has really spawned this
procedure. Basically as before we take the vehicle template
or exact dimensions and lay out the images on the computer
screen to fit the entire dimensions. Then after printing on
outdoor vinyl the images are placed on the vehicle. The
major draw back to this process is the warranty. With these
products the warranty is not as good as a cut vinyl letter.
But the colors are definitely not as cool. |
