Warranty Information

Warranty covers replacement cost of physical product only-the actual graphics damaged, based on manufacturer warranty specifications. This does not include material handling (cutting, printing, shipping, etc.) or installation. Payment of handling and installation (if applicable) will be due upon completion of the job. All installation by Die-Hard Graphics of vinyl on sign board, vehicles, etc will be warranted for life against installation defects.  Please contact Die-Hard Graphics if you have any questions about the warranty information listed below.

Vinyl Products

High Performance Opaque Film 
2 mil opaque cast film - exterior durability 7-8 years against color fading. 

  • Best adhesive system

  • Excellent conforming characteristics (applying over rivets or other rough surfaces) 

  • Highest Gloss film

Mid-Low Performance Opaque Film 
3.2 mil opaque calendered film - exterior durability 3-6 years against color fading.

  • Lower Grade adhesives (most applications)

  • Adequate conforming characteristics

  • Lower Gloss film

 

High Performance Translucent Film
 2 mil translucent cast film - exterior durability 7 years against color fading. 

  • Best adhesive system

  • Excellent conforming characteristics (applying over rivets or other rough surfaces) 

  • Highest light transmission

Mid-Low Performance Translucent Film
3.2 mil translucent calendered film - exterior durability 7 years against color fading.

  • Lower Grade adhesives (most applications)

  • No conforming characteristics

  • Lower light transmission

 

Premium Reflective Film
5.5 mil engineering grade film - exterior durability 7-8 years against color fading.

  • Engineered to meet U.S. Federal Reflectivity specifications.

  • Cannot use Wet Application Methods

  • Made for long term applications

Intermediate Reflective Film
5.5 mil non-engineering grade film - exterior durability 3 years against color fading.

  • Not Engineered to meet U.S. Federal Reflectivity specifications.

  • Cannot use Wet Application Methods

  • Lower cost product

  • Made for short term applications

 

 

Metallic Film 
2 mil  film - exterior durability 5-7 years against color fading.

  • High Gloss

  • Long term automotive and architectural applications

  • Excellent conforming characteristics

Ultra Metallic Film
3 mil  film - exterior durability 5 years against color fading.

  • High Gloss

  • Ideal for eye catching designs

  • No conforming characteristics

 

 

Polyester Film
3 mil  film - exterior durability 3-5 years against color fading.

  • High Gloss

  • Gives polished or brushed appearance

  • No conforming characteristics

  • Cannot use Wet Application Methods

 

Ink-Jet Printed Vinyl

Untreated Prints

  • All untreated (No clear coating applied), printed vinyl on mid quality vinyl will be guaranteed 3 years against color fading. This does not carry any warranty against abrasion resistance. 

Treated Prints

  • All treated (clear coating applied), printed vinyl on high performance vinyl the product will be guaranteed for 5 years against color fading and abrasion resistance.

 

 

Sign Board

Corrugated Plastic Signage
4 mil, 6 mil, 10 mil

PVC  Foam Board
1 mil - 10 mil

  • Mid price signage

  • Colors are completely molded in

Acrylic Plastic Signage

Pre-Fabricated Sign Frames
All pre-fabricated sign frames, unless otherwise stated, are warranted against manufacturing defects only. This warranty does not cover any paint damage caused accidentally or otherwise. 

 

Magnet Material
All magnets are warranted for the materials placed on the magnet, such as vinyl graphics or ink jet prints. There is no warranty against color fading of the magnet, or accidental removal of magnet via wind gusts or theft.

 

Vehicle Striping
All printed vehicle striping packages are warranted for 1 year against color fading. All other striping carries the same warranty as the vinyl from which the product was made, as listed above.

 

Custom Made Sign Cabinets
All custom made aluminum sign cabinets  are warranted against workmanship defects. All other materials (hardware, electrical fixtures, wiring, etc) carry the same warranty as the materials used to create the product, per manufacturer specifications.  Light bulbs and other consumables contain no warranty.

 

Channel Letters
All custom made channel letters contain a lifetime warranty. If any of the letters should break, crack, chip, fade or fail they will be replaced.
